Research Stocks More Quickly with Google Finance Stock Screener

google stock screener

Google Stock Screener is an interesting new feature in Google Finance that lets you find stocks of companies based on custom investment criteria specified by you.

For instance, you may want to know about technology related companies that have market capital in excess of $100b or their current share price lies between a certain limit. Or you may to invest in Energy related stocks that are trading below $10.

While all popular finance websites have their own Stock Screener applications (see MSN, AOL & Yahoo), this one from Google is more interactive and very user-friendly.

With Google Stock Screener, you can just slide the criteria bars and the list of stocks is filtered dynamically - this makes your market research task simpler because you don’t have to submit forms each time you make a minor adjustment.

Google Stock Screener currently supports only US stocks that are traded at NYSE, AMEX and NASDAQ.
