Search the Web in Horizontal Mode with Wide Explorer

If you like to perform the same search on multiple search engines, one option is to use meta search tools like Dogpile that aggregate results from different place into one page.

Now Widexplorer tackles the same problem but with a different approach. Rather than aggregating results, Wide Explorer takes all the different search pages and arranges all of them on one page in a horizontal direction - see this example for ‘canon 50d.’

This may sound a bit strange but once you try this ‘unique’ layout, you may actually like it. That’s because the information you are looking for is often available among the top 5 or 6 search results so a vertical scroll is unnecessary in most cases.

Other than searching the web, Wide Explorer also provides alternate reading layouts for other popular sites in News, Magazines, Tech and other categories. Thanks Gabe.
